The leaves are turning on the Sylvanfair tree! Join us for a weekend-long Fayre in the Grove to mark the occasion. Starting at 6.00PM, on the 25th day of Imaerasta (September 25th, 2015), you are invited to help us prepare for the festivities by making some decorative garlands. Someone will be on hand to teach you how to weave some of the autumn-themed bits and pieces we have gathered especially for the occasion.
At 8.00PM, House Sylvanfair welcomes Japhrimel Laurentiu Faendryl of the Faendryl Enclave as he demonstrates his skills as a Master Cobbler whilst giving us an insight into dark elven fashions and how they may have changed over time.
On the 26th day of Imaerasta (September 26th, 2015) at 4.00PM, we are delighted to welcome a guest speaker from Elanthian Elegance who will be talking about some of the techniques for creating original and beautiful, nature-inspired designs. We will be holding two raffle draws shortly afterwards.
The first raffle is for a cream damask longcoat faintly patterned with autumn-hued leaves which morphs into a berry red damask longcoat accented with silvery oak leaf skeletons. The second is for an auburn samite longcoat chased with vine-and-leaf threadwork which morphs into a lustrous vermilion samite longcoat fully lined in matte gold silk. Tickets for both raffles will cost 10,000 silvers each and will go on sale shortly after the Fayre opens on the Day of the Huntress.
This will be followed at 7.00PM by the highlight of the weekend, the Turnleaf Ball and a raffle draw for a commemorative gilt-veined silvery lor runestaff. The theme will, of course, be autumn and prizes will be awarded for the best outfits. Raffle tickets will cost 50,000 silvers each.
After the excitement of the Ball, come and relax in the Grove on the afternoon of the 27th day of Imaerasta (September 27th, 2015). At 2.00PM, we'll be holding a friendly fishing competition. Don't worry if you're a novice or don't own any fishing gear as we'll have plenty on hand. This will be followed by a friendly round or two of the ever-popular Greedy Gremlins at 4.00PM to round off the weekend's festivities.
