The first three times my Dispel-flaring Sigil Staff went off this morning, I see "That does not seem to work."
Which I already have as a colored highlight from when the Sigil Staff script was not working correctly.

Interestingly, the dispel effect of that script itself... is working just fine.

(Unless this is 'rooting' effect of the set, in which case I will go over and nag Estild some more in the Duskruin thread.)
