Bonespear weird casting results 03/13/2022 02:43 PM CDT

I keep getting these casting failures with no indication why. Happens with both Eidolons and Waerns.

You chant a reverent litany, clasping your hands while focusing upon the Smite spell...

Your spell is ready.

You channel at a waern.

Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

Roundtime: 3 sec.

Once it happens on a creature, it always seems to happen for that creature. As if it's magic-immune. Just weird that there's no messaging at all indicating it is.

I don't know if it's related, or where you are in the Bonespear area, but I do know that the Bonespear courtyard is magic resistant in most of the rooms. As I said, I don't know if that's what is happening here...

Yeah, I thought about that too, but this behavior is not room specific (and not in the courtyard). In the same room, casting at some other creature succeeds normally.
