In commemoration of the repeal of Chaston's Edict stands have been placed out in River's Rest, Solhaven, and Wehnimer's Landing so that any who wish can receive a pin in memory of this historic occasion. Look for the stands in North Market Southeast in Solhaven, Town Square East in Wehnimer's Landing, and the western part of the Commons Circle in River's Rest.

This pile of sapphire and gold sunburst pins has been carefully laid out upon the table. Each has been skillfully crafted and placed so that any single one can be easily and freely taken without damaging any of the others.

Smooth and slightly domed, a pale blue sapphire cabochon rests its flat back upon gold foil fitted with an intricate pin and hasp mechanism. Tranquil hues darken at the center of the jewel, creating the soothing colors of an ocean touched by morning light. A large, lustrous golden sunburst is inlaid along the top, its wavy rays emanating upward and growing longer as they crest the upper curve of the piece. Tilted at an appropriate angle, the pin forms the image of resplendent dawn over an idyllic ocean.

The stands will be out for a couple of weeks so anyone interested will have time to grab one. Some of these pins had previously been distributed in person to people. There is no difference between those pins and these ones, this is just an alternative distribution method so that anyone interested in one has a chance to get one.
