An Elothean stands within a forge, looking entirely out of place. Instead of being dressed in proper forging attire he is well attired, his clothing eminently clean. Despite his dress his purpose is made clear when he uses tongs to snatch a steel tasset from a nearby fire, moving it to an anvil and beginning to pound at it with a hammer, shaping it. The banging of the hammer against the tasset rings out, filling the room with a cadent cacophony of noise. Just as the tasset begins to cool, a hooded figure passes nearby and drops something on the floor. Klines appears to not notice for several long moments after the figure has moved on. However, he finally rests his hammer on the anvil and turns around, reaching down to pick up the object.

A small cylindrical leather case is recovered from the floor and he slowly opens it, removing a weathered parchment from it. He tosses the case into a nearby bucket, his eyes never leaving the rolled up parchment. A wax seal allows the parchment to maintain its rolled shape, the crest of the Silvermist Family molded into the wax. He maintains his gaze at the rolled up parchment for nearly a minute, deep in ponderance of what it might be. He then uses his other hand to break the wax seal, unrolling the paper.

As he unrolls it, the parchment crackles showing signs of aging and weathering, clearly haven taken some time to reach him. He stares at the words on the parchment, his eyes passing over them rapidly several times. Finally, he nods once and then tosses the parchment into the nearby fire. The wax melts rapidly as the parchment itself catches fire. He then picks up his hammer and reaches for the tongs again. The tasset is placed in the fire again, heated, and then placed back on the anvil. The hammer begins anew its cadent report as it pounds against the tasset, continuing to give it form.

As the parchment burns, most of the words can be made out before it is entirely consumed, "Search parties ineffective. Location of Saramei and Damoza unknown. Gotinx returns."
