Official organizations have certain GM support and perks (such as badges and affiliation titles).

Official orders are required to follow many rules to maintain their charters:

The last I heard, they were working on an orders re-write that would include three different "tiers" of player-run organizations (each with varying levels of GM support).

No new official orders will be sanctioned until this re-write is completed.
