We need some more colorful things. How about a merchant that sells scrolls ilke what the clerics got for Shield of Light, except lets us change the color of our chain lightning? I'd love to make my CL blue and my lightning bolt green. It would confuse the people in the area a lot.

Or have lurid violet bolts of lightning. Or orange. Or lightish red. Definately lightish red.
