having just recently acquired this spell, i was wondering - i got messaging indicating it was bonusing my coif, hauberk and gloves. However, no messaging for my buckler <i use a tanned shalswar buckler - arm-worn>. Does this spell not help worn shield - being as that is part of my "armor" too -- or no?

No, YS will not help with shield. I think the spell description mentions something about a cushion of air between armor and caster which cant really happen with a shield as it moves about.

I do believe there is a new shield bonusing spell out there, Earth spell named Aegis of Granite.
