Can we make chain lightning non-signature in the same vein as shockwave and telekinetic storm?

No, because CL is a WM perk, with its low cast difficulty and min prep.

Not the answer I wanted, but I appreciate the quick response.

We're already a bit over the top on the number of tools that Guilds have that are available to everyone via Sorcery. Right now if you don't train Sorcery, even ignoring TDPs, you are seriously gimping yourself.

I mean, does Uncurse's main functions need to be signature? As always, not all guilds contribute evenly...

So your comment on uncurse had me curious and I did a little research.
@Geruva, can I ask that this decision be reconsidered? I did a little research and it seems that the spell is not unique in terms of low minimum prep or difficulty. I understand why all cyclic AOE TM and Debilitators are signature, but it seems like this is the only single-cast AOE TM spell that is. Likewise, it's inconsistent to say that a guild's "niche" is signature (see bard and straight cast AOE debilitators as an example)
Likewise, the bard thing is aoe debilitators, but neither DMRS and misdirection are similar, which are both low-prep, AOE debilitators (advanced and intermediate respectively). As an aside, does anyone know how to not trigger the knockback on shockwave, and can flame shockwave be learned via sorcery if you know both scrolls?

In fairness, the current incarnation of TKS is absolutely terrible, so you might be doing people a favor by making it signature.
