I have seen a few of these types of fams lately, made of electricity or fire or some element. I asked someone how they got a fam like that and they said you carve it that way but they didn't elaborate. So how DOES someone who is attuned to the element fire make a fire familiar?
....also, am I the only one who gets reminded of Ren and Stimpy when I see the word fire dog?
