At the end of Gauthus' intro speech he tells the new war mage to chose a targeted spell. He says to pick one of six from one of the spell books. Aether doesn't have a TM spell anymore. He should say one of five spells.

Gauthus says, "You are now ready to learn a spell, <name>. There are six spells you may choose from at your level, one from each of the six elemental spellbooks. These spells will help you train your magical skills, especially Targeted Magic. Ask me about magic to get more information about these six spells. Choose wisely, young Kaldar"

Guildmaster Gauthus says, "The magic of Warrior Mages is the manipulation of forces from the elemental Planes. Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Electricity and Aether are the tools we use to forge our spells."
