With the upcoming teasers, I had an interesting idea for a trader specific crafting niche. It would use starlight aura (a decent amount) and let you attempt to exchange some prepared crafting materials for some quantity of materials of equal or lesser value.

For example: "Unique" metals could become a different type of "Unique" metal (Silversteel to Tyrium). Rare to rares (Platinum -> Kertig). common to common. (ie: Steel to pewter or lead)

> Contact Negotiator (Must have the material in one hand, and the other hand empty)
Channelling some of your starlight aura into a beacon, you wait paitently (starlight used)... after some time a [small, medium, large, hulking, enormous, gigantic] starcrasher appears {insert RP text}.

After shrwed negotiations, you hand your [ingot, stack, lumber...] to the starcrasher who hands you a [type] [ingot, stack, lumber...] and departs from whence it came.

Notes:
- Size determines how much material they'll exchange (they can only carry so much), and the size you summon is determined by planar conditions and your charsima.
- If you move during this time, you'll cancel the process. Your starlight is still expended, but you won't be there to greet them. This includes moving with caravans.
- The rareness of material they'll exchange is limited by your trading experience and skill in the material. They won't do the best deals with traders they deem unworthy. There may be some sort of punishment if you attempt to trade a high-quality, high-volume item when you lack the skills to do so.
- This teaches a substantial amount of trading experience, and is limited by available starlight aura.
- Excess material is not wasted. The starcrasher will give you change (original stack size decreases).
- Young traders will lose a lot of materials. Medium circle traders should break even. Very high-level traders may come out slightly ahead. Unique materials are always 1:1.
- There is always a purity drop. It's random (1-10%).
- For ease of coding, there may be groups of materials instead of rarity of the same type. Punka <-> Tyrium <-> Alerce, for example. Kertig <-> Haralun <-> Glaes as another.

This is a very cool idea and in theme with the starcrashers' interest in metals. If it almost always costs at least a little material, the GMs should be appeased.
