... Not... really. It's used in an identification check. If you don't have the perception to notice what's happening, that's one thing. Arcana comes into it as the ability to understand what you're seeing.

Not sure what being lore secondary has to do with it, as it remains a magic skill. However the intention is clearly in the long term to provide MNUs effective ways to train it - however the definition of the skill needed to change first before those were developed.
