I'll be honest. The 'only after 500 ranks' is a bit of a let down, especially as Barbarians did get two free slots.

I fully understand why, and have defended the decision, but that doesn't mean I'm not also saddened by it.

Good news... After talking to Armifer about this, we agreed that because Thieves are in their own situation they can get it at 50th circle. So Thieves with a Basic subscription now get their bonus slot at 50th (or if they somehow get 500 IM before that).
