Swimming counts for circling?

Agreed. I first thought it had to do with swimming between Leth and Crossings (something that's been pushed for in the ranger guild), but there's already the Fifth Passage.
Hmmmmm.
You are so cryptic;
How will we figure it out?
Is it live in Prime?

Exactly what I was thinking, but upon reflection circling maybe makes more sense. I await clarification, or confirmation that it's live in TF.

This was my thought too when I saw it posted in Inter-Guild Relationships. In TF it was posted in the Thief Announcements folder but I don't think there's a Inter-guild Relationships folder there.

Inter-guild plus swimming makes it easy to think rangers might be involved somehow. Some kind of swim meet or competition between the two survival prime guilds maybe? I know the nekkid ranger race was a topic recently. Maybe this is some similar event?

Upon further reflection it would seem a swim meet would be posted in ranger events folder also. So probably this isn't the answer.

The sewers are going to flood, which will bring attention to the 5th passage. It'll be more difficult to swim through and open to everyone.

Sounds like it involves this post:
http://www.play.net/forums/messages.asp?forum=20&category=31&topic=1&message=264
I'm guessing there's a thief connection to a passage via the Segoltha which sounds like it is swimmable now or will be.

Since the passage was sort of a sop to Thieves after a years' long misunderstanding about the existence of a certain passage, my guess is that the passage is going to be flooded so that it is A) no longer usable, or B) still usable, but closer to the difficulty of actually swimming the Segoltha (since that is rolling out soon.)

<<my guess is that the passage is going to be flooded so that it is A) no longer usable,>>
Makes sense, but it would be a blow.
Not for the easy river crossing; I train my swimming. But the tunnel is a thief thing with a good RP thief feel. It was well done, and it's not good losing those. When I'm down there I feel like a thief sneaking around in secret, dark places other people can't find.
The loss of the old guild was a similar setback, at least for me. The new guild had a lot of effort put into it I know, but it doesn't have same teefy feel like the old guild. Would be excellent for a trader country club maybe. I don't feel like a thief when I'm in there, so I never linger. Making the passage unusable now would be another unique place with a good teefy feel lost. They're getting harder to find. My own opinions obviously.
<<or B) still usable, but closer to the difficulty of actually swimming the Segoltha (since that is rolling out soon.)>>
An interesting compromise, but possibly not as likely as your answer A.

As of today the passage is still usable, for which I am truly thankful. Now I'm hoping the flood of change means something else, like we're going to get a casino somewhere near the river and I'll be winning big at the slots.
Seriously Tiesse, is there anything further you can tell us about what's being planned?
Kaxis
P.S. Actually I rather like the idea of a special casino set up to pickpocket rich NPC patrons or jimmy the machines or even rob the cashier while trying to avoid the notice of security forces. Maybe even the old slug coin on a string trick. Would be set up like the museum where you try to avoid guards to loot the cases.

I'm pretty sure the flood of changes was the Selgotha being swimmable. Sure it's probably quicker to take the 5th passage but where else teaches swimming as high as the Selgotha?
