I would like to see weapon choice for ambush slash to work more like ambush stun, so that you can slash with any weapon at the sacrifice of the added damage if you don't use a slicer. With the extremely limited use of ambush slash, there is no motivation or logical reason to switch weapons to a slicer to execute the attack, being able to use a puncture weapon to slash would make it more tempting to use (even if slashing with a puncture meant stabbing the hamstring and twisting/ripping at it violently)

Ok, and what if i don't use one of those? I should not be pigeon-holed into using only a few specific weapons just so i can have the option of using ambush slash. That was the purpose of the ambush stun change, but ambush slash was ignored and not given the same love.
