Li Aevaen ia Medien. first edition 03/31/2019 10:19 PM CDT
The Skra Mur proclaims...
<< “the first enchiridion is complete, the people of this land of ours should know all the truth. Not just that spoken by those with motive for power, those that keep secret and ones with motivation to deceive.”

<< “Li Aevaen ia Medien, Gamgweth for Eyes and Ears. We will inform the people of the truth. We will ask the question and provide the answers.”

<< "Take them, leave them in places for the people to read, spread the word that a new voice is on the streets, for anyone who is seeking answers, those that wish to know the truth.”

<< “Work together and spread the word of our new publication”.

Two hooded figures gather up the bundles of publications, arms full with the freshly printed magazine, they respectfully nod to the tall Skra Mur and leave the room.

LI AEVAEN IA MEDIEN

For a time now, the Anduwen Watch has claimed to be a group based in the province of Zoluren, aimed at protecting and educating the people of Kramoria.

But just who makes up this group? Who are the people who have called themselves the protectors of us regular people? Why do they feel we need educating, and what are they educating us in?

From what we can gather, the main voice of “The Watch” (as it’s more commonly known) is made up of Navesi Daerthon, along with her husband, Saragos Daerthon. As observed, they are the ones who speak most prominently to inform the people of their decisions, actions and reasonings.

No more loudly is this voice heard and spoken to the people than through the *First Land Herald*.

With Miss Navesi Daerthon as Editor in Chief and Mr Saragos Daerthon as a reporter one could ask what leadership of any other order or group, has this kind of bias to the printed word, that is then sold for a princely cost in each province. Is there an agenda here that is being hidden? And where do we see all of the profits go? Straight to the pockets of Mr and Mrs Daerthon and the other members of the Watch?

Unconfirmed reports claim that the children housed in the Orphanage of Zoluren are being made to print the newsletter. This begs the question of why. Why would this secret set up of free child labor be used? Could it be that the children, uneducated and powerless, are the perfect ones to carry on the spreading of the potentially nefarious plots of The Watch? To doop the unsuspecting readers that they are our saviours, that they do good, that they have the answers. Where history speaks otherwise... Was the initial failing by the Watch to dispose of the cloak that released Maelshyve, a well organized and disguised plot to release her in the first place?

These poor under-fed children, the slaves to the quill and the Watch.
What has happened to any child that has failed to meet standards, or have whispered of their plight? Are these the remains we see decaying in the bottom of the pit in the middens? Is this why Navesi took such an interest in Miss Viyalo Tivrofi-Vayato and her mission to have the middens cleaned. Was attention coming too close to the orphanage, this institute of deception and bondage.

Perune Nocarrain is a war mage, and one who sees himself as a researcher and scholar. But what is it he has been researching? He confesses and boasts of his time guarding the Standing Stones in the Zaulfung swamps during the time of the Elpalzi incursions to the province of Zoluren. A time he claims was spent gaining knowledge. Again, the question is, knowledge of what? The Zaulfung, home to the” Nameless Evil” in times of old, revealing itself as that of the demoness Maelshyve, when this demigoddess chose to show her true power as we are experiencing today.

Perune Nocarrain, scholar, researcher and member of the Anduwen Watch has bought a Necromancer into our midst, in a plan to defeat this Demoness with a “secret” device. To what end will this this unholy alliance and device provide. Is it that his time in the swamps was to commune with the unholy one? To show his devotion and gain knowledge that can bridge the planes for Maelshyve’s foothold from the void and finally open and bring forth our Abidings destruction?

Other reports have been rumored of the two known as Maltris Remlane and Qiyan, Ranger and Empath respectfully. A nameless Elf spoke of how, his own brother, after hearing on the Gwethdesuan, Maltris was looking for certain “cards” to complete his set. Willing to give up his own cards, in doing a good turn, replied to Maltris that he had some cards to give away free of charge. A meeting spot was arrange outside of the North Gate in a secluded glade. The brother turned up, finding both Maltris and Qiyan waiting for him.

< “My brother told me, he knew something was wrong, when instead of a polite greeting from the two, a growl of ‘we don't like being kept waiting’ came from the lips of an angry Empath.”

Not wanting to inflame the situation the brother apologised and proceeded to retrieve the few cards he had in his carry-all. But before he could make the offer to the two, a sharp crack to the head, and he went tumbling to the ground.

< “My brother was knocked to the ground and set upon by the Ranger, beating him even though he was giving up the cards feely”.

Only when Maltris was satisfied that there were no cards left, did he relent. Qiyan then turned to the beaten Elf and exclaimed.

< “Each week we’ll be back for more, If you don't have them, we’ll beat you again”.

Attempts were made to contact this poor Elf to verify this story, only to find out he has since left the crossing for a new life on the island of Ratha. Feeling that this attack could be racially motivated as he had recently bonded to a young Prydean lass, he wanted to find a place that is more accepting of his inter-racial union as they are going to attempt to defy the biological odds and try to start a family. Word on the streets is that the Ratha bank steps have a magical quality where some interspecies unions defy the will of the Immortals.

The list of self righteous deeds performed by members of the watch continues with the same dark overtones as that of the Cleric Whiteburn, whos devotion to the dark Immortals has been the wellspring of pain and fear to many who have seeked refuge from the innocents of their own mortality and imperfections.

Is it time we cast our eyes to what we are being informed. We do not have the questions, we, in the truth we can see, will have the answers.
