New player looking for friends 09/19/2017 04:32 PM CDT
More precisely though, an old player coming back, from about 20 years ago. Wanted to get back into the game, and hope to meet some people willing to help.

I'm looking for players to interact with myself. My characters consider Ratha their home though, and right now Ratha definitely needs more players to interact with. One down side though is that I play sporadically throughout the day, and when I play I typically only play a character for about an hour, so that doesn't really help my player social life, but it does keep me from burning out on the game. My characters in Ratha include Odoi, Rabba, Quanyia, and Rze. I do have a bard currently on the mainland by the name of Poose, but I plan for that character to move to Ratha as soon as she can afford to buy a gweth. With Ratha's low player population gweths, to me, seem to be a necessity. Some of these characters make occasion excursions to the mainland for supplies, mostly to mine or chop wood, as the mine in Ratha is too dangerous for my characters right now and wood can only be chopped on the mainland. Also my empath usually has to make a monthly trip to the mainland to learn some empath as almost no one seems to need my empath's touch when my empath is in game on Ratha. My Ranger too makes a trip weekly to the mainland for the Ranger meetings, and my trader makes periodic trips to stay in contact with trade ministers from the other guilds.

Please feel free to contact my characters in game.

I foresee online gaming changing when there are good audio-visual links connecting the participants, thus approximating play in a face-to-face group. Gary Gygax
