SMILE, FROWN, and PONDER are cool things, but having only those available as freeform verbs is a bit limiting. I wish ACT could lose the parenthesis, but I'm aware that's unlikely to happen. So barring that, would there be any way of converting more verbs to allow for freeform emoting so there is a bit more flexibility? Ones that come to mind that would be ideal are SIGH, BOW, FRET, FIDGET, and SOB. They're pretty generic as-is and with the exception of SIGH (which wouldn't be detracted from at all by conversion) don't have anything else going for them at the moment.

Sigh is sort of freeform. You should be able to "sigh softly" or "sigh loudly."

I don't think it's quite as expansive as smile, iirc it's just one extra word but I can't test it at the moment.

I personally like this idea, but I'd rather see emotes added to BOW than to make it freeform.

GESTURE is used for a few things like casting warrior mage cantrips and shifting moonbeams, so it's probably not a good candidate for freeform.
