Posted this in the skills and abilities section, figured it'd also belong here.

A Ranger's Solliloquy
By Mhikal Dy'Nar

To forage, or not to forage? ~ That is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
the aches and pains of cramped wrists
or to train something other whilst in a class,
learning various skills. To stand- to hunt-
no more (and by a hunt to say we end
the wrist-ache, and the thousand 'natural' hazards
that foraging is new heir to.) 'Tis a consummation
devoutly to be wish'd. To stand- to hunt.
To hunt- perchance to skin: ay, there's the rub!
For in the hunt of death what pelts may come
when we have shaken off this infernal stagnation,
must give us pause. There's the respect
that makes calamity of sojourns in the woods.
For who need'st scrape the bear pelts over time,
th' hunter's bane, the steel of the scraper,
the pangs of the carving knife, the scraping delay,
the insolence of newbies, and the spurns
that patient merit of th' unworthy takes,
so that a ranger themselves might his armour make
with a bone bodkin? Who would these fardels bear,
to grunt and sweat under weary life,
but that the dread of something after death-
the undiscover'd country, from whose bourn
no ranger returns- freezes the mind,
and makes us rather bear those ills we have
than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make foragers of us all,
and thus the native hue of our fingers
is sicklied o'er with the wet dark of dirt,
and enterprises of great pith and moment
with this regard their currents turn awry
and lose the name of action. - Soft you now!
The fair Kalika!- Nymph, in thy orisons
be all my training reward'd.

Composed during a time of intense foraging for all those whom share the aches and pains.
