Any suggestion on how to get scouting to move at early ranks? I use hunt, but the problem is, I'm not much of a mobile hunter, so I don't learn as much there. Obviously trails aren't an option yet, due to my ranks (31 scouting thus far). Does tracking things still work (ie the squirrel or chipmunk in arthe)?

Hunt every 75 seconds while you're in combat, you don't need to hunt to a creature for Scouting to move. Follow this methodology and reach 1000+ Scouting and profit.

As suggested, use HUNT.

Under 40 ranks you can use HUNT on NPCs, and that should teach reasonable well. The timer is 75 seconds, so try and use HUNT as much as possible in combat to optimize learning. Also, you don't have to HUNT # to learn Scouting, but it will give you a significant boost. Maybe before you settle in for hunting, you could run around a few times to get Scouting moving?
