Are there any trails or abilities out there that require 500+ scouting? Or is there a point where scouting ranks are only for the tdps?

I think the hardest trails out there are boar to theren, faldesu ferry to fens. Not sure what ranks those are at.

Scouting counts in the sniping calcs. But ya, it seems pretty underwhelming. I do use a small handful of useful trails, occasionally HUNT for non training purposes, sometimes SCOUT AREA if I can't find an exit, but I don't think I've ever had a failed check because of low ranks even while moving up in skill.

With the proper beseeches, scouting and athletic abilities, I'd love the see the Islands open up from the mainland. With a title like Ocean Traveler open to us, you'd think we'd be able to find currents.

Vaguely, I remember being able to run all the trails at ~150-200 in scouting. So the requirement is pretty low for scouting.
