You can under the same circumstances that paladins can. Paladins can only point someone out with "phenomenal levels of success"- so they have to see when someone does something stealthy using their ability- much like when you see someone sneaking in to a room. You can point someone out if you see them sneak into the room.

I must have misread. For some reason I assumed it was a passive way to find an inactive hider without searching at first. Conflict averted.

Though we still need one of those.

Basically, the change allows the spell clarity to help our sixth sense. So, we can sense marks, approaches and steals better now (Z says a mild to moderate increase in the sense). At a phenomenal level of success, we point them. I haven't personally tested, so just parroting information presently.
