become a bard and learn aura of tongues..well..spose that's not technically learning it

Well, there is an Ilithic dictionary, as well as a grammar guide and a few "everyday phrases" guides.

So you could probably learn to speak it without the use of the LANGUAGE verb, but your word choice would be incredibly limited and you'd probably just piss a lot of people off.
