Shield Alteration Contest of Sorts 08/08/2010 04:58 PM CDT
Hello All

I posted something similar in the Rangers folders but... I am looking for ideas to alter my shield using a Larisa theme. If I use a design posted here, I will pay that poster 100 plat for coming up with a design I like.

Thanks in Advance

A simple one off the top of my head:

Tap: a shield emblazoned with a female archer following a wolverine.

Look: This fine shield is emblazoned with the image of Lirisa the Archer armed with her silvered bow. She is following a wolverine and appears to be on the hunt. Inscribed on the shield is the word "Justice."

Simple question, What kind of shield is it first?

"Simple question, What kind of shield is it first?"

It is an ironwood buckler. Not sure where it came from but I have never had to have it repaired in my 340 lessons.

look buckler

The salt-stained wood is emblazoned with a golden star above two crossed scimitars.

You are certain that it imposes a low maneuvering hinderance.

This shield is medium in size.

You are certain that the buckler offers rather low to good protection.

You are certain that it could do:
no puncture damage
no slice damage
moderate impact damage

You are certain that the buckler is poorly balanced and is fairly suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You are certain that the ironwood buckler is moderately strong, and is in pristine condition.

It appears that the ironwood buckler can be worn on the left arm.
The ironwood buckler has a bit of weight to it.
You are certain that the ironwood buckler is worth exactly 12650 kronars.

Understand this appraisal is coming from a ranger. No spells on the shield.

Thanks Again

That was from the Outcast war I think. Some pirates dropped them maybe? My memory of that is fuzzy.

Looks like one of the bucklers from ether shard or aesry before the descriptive modifiers broke and ironwood increased durability.
