I had a thought what happens if a Paladin has a favor to all of the Thirteen? Could this be part of the bonding?

favors seem to work on the LIFO model. whatever god you got your last favor from is the indicator. perhaps it would take too much storage space?

FWIW, the system also tracks the number of consecutive times you got a favour from the last god. E.g. if you get 4 favours in a row from Meraud, your last god is Meraud and your last consecutive count is 4. If you then get one from Kertigen, your last god becomes Kertigen and your last consecutive count goes to 1. Getting another Meraud sets your last god back to Meraud but your last consecutive count stays at one.
