perhaps this is just a side effect, but then again maybe not...

I've noticed just now that my horse it attacking like crazy again, but only against shamblers/horrors/ and warriors just north of lang.

when fighting the zombies and rangers by el bains, he rarely attacked.

perhaps these critters are more in line with what my horse's fighting level currently is. would be interesting to test out with other mobs are the same level or near level to these guys.

Anyone else experience that certain mobs your horse will attack more often or not?
