Is that unique to a specific smith?

The great helm isn't capped.

The field plate is capped for "field plate" if that's what you're asking.

If I am not mistaken, that is the mark of Relayer

That's Relayer's mark. One of the best forgers we have had.

Here is my great helm:

You feel certain that a great helm appears to impose fair (3/8) maneuvering hindrance and fair (3/8) stealth hindrance, offering:
high (6/11) protection and high (6/11) damage absorption for puncture attacks.
great (7/11) protection and high (6/11) damage absorption for slice attacks.
moderate (4/11) protection and high (6/11) damage absorption for impact attacks.
good (5/11) protection and good (5/11) damage absorption for fire attacks.
moderate (4/11) protection and good (5/11) damage absorption for cold attacks.
poor (1/11) protection and good (5/11) damage absorption for electrical attacks.

If you were only wearing a great helm your maneuvering would be minimally hindered and your stealth would be insignificantly hindered.
But considering all the armor and shields you are wearing or carrying, you are currently insignificantly hindered and your stealth is very hindered.

You are certain that the great helm is of average construction (9/18), and is practically in mint condition (90-97%).

The great helm is made with metal.
You are certain that the great helm weighs exactly 200 stones.
You are certain that the great helm is worth exactly 500 lirums.

I think yours is capped, but not to weight. The gauntlets are capped and the field plate armor is capped.

Tyr: Post your cap on the great helm. With the upcoming changes, I haven't been keeping up with what is capped or not.

There is slightly better apping armor. But you will pay the price for it with weight. Just keep DA up and you'll be fine.
