Hows this for metal breastplate? 07/03/2006 03:00 PM CDT
I forgot what relayer can do, and lost the web site. How does this compare to people in prime? 180 stones. Why is this worse than chain, heh.

The metal breastplate is light plate.

The breastplate looks like it offers protection for the following areas:

chest
abdomen
back

You feel certain that a metal breastplate appears to impose fair maneuvering hindrance and offers:
moderate protection and good damage absorption for puncture attacks.
moderate protection and good damage absorption for slice attacks.
low protection and good damage absorption for impact attacks.
good protection and good damage absorption for fire attacks.
fair protection and good damage absorption for cold attacks.
poor protection and good damage absorption for electrical attacks.

If you were only maneuvering in a metal breastplate you could expect to be unhindered.

You are certain that the metal breastplate is moderately strong, and is in pristine condition.

The metal breastplate is made with metal.
You guess that the metal breastplate probably weighs a few hundred stones.
You are certain that the metal breastplate is worth exactly 2500 kronars.

Looks about right. There may be a weight at which you get mgl/hhh and keep the fair hinderance, lowest I've ever tried with mgl/hhh is 320ish.

The forging templates and coded caps are messed up. Its worse when you consider how light and good capped leathers get.

And to compare, my 180 stone LP Metal Breastplate apps as:

You feel certain that a metal breastplate appears to impose fair maneuvering hindrance and offers:
moderate protection and good damage absorption for puncture attacks.
moderate protection and good damage absorption for slice attacks.
low protection and good damage absorption for impact attacks.
good protection and good damage absorption for fire attacks.

poor protection and good damage absorption for electrical attacks.

If you were only maneuvering in a metal breastplate you could expect to be unhindered.

You are certain that the metal breastplate is moderately strong, and is in pristine condition.

Which exactly matches yours and Praxis posted stats.

Which would indicate to me at least that you've hit the cap for the weight.
