Unconsented pvp from necromancers 05/07/2019 07:25 PM CDT
This announcement seems mostly to do with necromancer players and the necromancer perspective, but as an empath who got so sick of griefer necromancers that I stopped working in the Crossing empath's guild altogether, I feel like the "bully guild" problem could have been better addressed from both directions simultaneously rather than rolling out protections for necromancers first, and then protecting other players from necromancers later on.

What, generally, can we look forward to in this regard? What does pvp "normalized" exactly mean for pvp-closed players who don't want to be harassed by necromancers in places where people congregate?

Does addressing orb mechanics mean that griefers won't be able to attack/harm pvp-closed players in places like the Crossing empath guild anymore? Orb constructs are certainly not the only way that griefers go about this.

If a high-level necromancer can still act as a one-man invasion force to disrupt unwilling players, then they're just as much a "bully guild" as ever, or even more so now that the class itself will be safer to play?
