I know there are still plans to be made and code to write but if Thoughtcast is made obsolete by 2017 ESP I'd like to throw a vote in the hat for keeping it as a zero slot lunar spell for psychically communicating with the dead. It's a very niche use but handy for contacting a corpse (coupled with shadewatch mirror) to see if they need help before you make a long distance trip to them.
If there ends up being a reason to spend spell slots on Thoughtcast in the new world of ESP please disregard.
