Companions on Astral Travel 04/15/2019 03:29 AM CDT

If I remember correctly, we used to be able to bring another PC along with us. That was stopped at one point for reasons I don’t remember. Are those reasons still valid? I think it would be nice to have that option again.

People were abusing it by taking people in against their will and leaving them there to die. All that was needed was the 100th circle ability and that they wren't avoiding groups. I don't think that's the only reason, but once they changed riftal summon to what it is now it is mostly redundant now anyway because of the difficulty scaling since its just easier to travel on your own and rift them. the difficulty scaling on taking others with you was even steeper than rifting is now

Thank you. I wasn’t aware of the issue, although I must say it made me smirk a bit.

I recognize the spell names of the alternative you mention, but I’ve either forgotten (or never knew) how they worked. I’ll have to dome reading.
