Can you shed some light on the following DO messaging, specifically the second line:

> You gesture at a voidspawn.
> *The abundance of celestial darkness empowers your spell.*
> A noose of darkest shadows forms in your hands. With a flick of your wrist, you send it flying at a voidspawn!

E-Pedia currently states that there is an undocumented Easter egg message string for Dinazen Olkar. Wondering if I happen to have found it. If I haven't, can you briefly touch on this particular messaging and explain what it's all about?

Dinazen Olkar has been changed to fluctuate in power based on environmental factors.

If the Sun is up AND Katamba is down, DO suffers a mild penalty to damage.
If the Sun is down AND katamba is up, DO benefits from a mild bonus to damage.
In other conditions, DO continues to function as it currently does.

This is a modifier to damage rather than a Potency modifier, so it still affects you at max prep and doesn't abort min preps.

To clarify, it's not the easter egg message since that was installed in the Magic 3.2 update back in 2014. Not sure what it is, however.

So, is this your long way of saying that the second line is showing Katamba's influence?

I was around for this update to DO and knew about it. Just have never seen that particular string before even though I have used DO in combat quite a lot.

Yes that's the power modification message from the moon/sun. It's similar to Dazzle's environmental messages with different moons:

The abundant moonlight lends strength to your spell.
There is not enough celestial light to fuel the Dazzle pattern indoors.
