The official word of the Moon Mage Guild is that he was deeply troubled by the events the transpired following the destruction of his Guildhall. As a result he has withdrawn from public life and allows few, if any, visitors whiles he recovers.

Indeed, during his few public appearances since that time he has seemed relatively coherent.

There is a fair amount of speculation about his mental state and what he does or does not know, but without confirmation by Tiv it remains nothing but speculation.
