Magic Immunity? 03/10/2010 02:59 PM CST
So, to underline my ignorance yet again...

Are Undead immune to our magics?

I tried to huck some Dinazen Olkars at those mutts you see north of the Crossing, and at some Grendels over in the Vinyard.

Each and every one of them failed.

Is it the spell type? Do I simply not know enough magic?

Or are they just flat out immune?

That would kind of suck, frankly. I far prefer a SLIM chance of success to none outright.

Also: What's up with shadow creatures? I thought I read somewhere that you needed light spells to hurt them? Is that true? And if so... why was I able to DO some Tenebraelings? What spells are ideal for this?

Some of the Lyras undead have really strong magic resistance, to the point where I can do more damage brawling them with over 200 less ranks in brawling. I've noticed this mostly with the zombies, not sure which ones are bad at low level.
