the ability to shift multiple years at a time (such as decades): even with capped speed, if you have to shift one year at a time, it can take hours to make someone look young or old.
If the person is fewer than X years away from the minimum/maximum age, shifting by X years at a time would just shift to the minimum/maximum age.

the ability to remove the height line from a player's description by shifting from average height to "standard": Currently, if someone chooses average in the character manager, or if you shift someone to average height, the description always says, "He is average height for a Human." (In the past, before height was an option in the Character Manager, you'd start average with no height description.)

the ability to freeze facial hair in its current state (instead of the current option, which allows you to remove the facial hair line from those who are clean shaven)

For example, the following scale colors have been seen on S'Kra NPCs: dark red, deep red, bronze, creamy, sable brown, blue-green, blue, blue-black, dark, and silver-edged.

If possible, it would be nice if skin colors and textures were separate options, so you didn't have to choose one or the other.

SHIFT HELP [RACE] command that would list all of your options for a given race: I made such a list of all options on Elanthipedia, but this would be nice for Empaths who don't yet have every option.

Also, out of curiosity, can Empaths shift Necromancers that are past the DO limit?

Possibly outside the purview of this but I really wish skin "texture" (smooth, wrinkled, freckled, pockmarked) and skin color were separate fields. A full half of the skin color options aren't actually colors.

More color options for human-ish races would be nice: bronzed, rich sepia, deep umber, tawny brown/beige, fair olive, olive brown, golden brown, ochre brown.

More texture-type things: oily, scarred, pallid, warm, cool, ashy, dry, flaky, luminous, flawless.

More miscellaneous features. Thick eyebrows, straight eyebrows, high cheekbones, moles/beauty marks, dark circles beneath his/her eyes, crow's feet, thin lips, pinched lips.

Also possibly beyond the purview but I would love to see more hair styles that take more textures of hair into account.

These are all such good ideas. You know I already crave the S'Kra options (I have a couple I would pay an empath for help with if these options were released), and everything else is just A Good Idea, functionally. I'm the sort of person who spends hours in character builders and loves looking at everyone else's choices too.

Hopefully some (or all!) can be implemented, because more options are always better. =D

As one coming from Gemstone, where feature customization through merchant interaction is open-ended, I very strongly support all the aforementioned suggestions, and more, to help bring a similar level of customization to DragonRealms. Our current options are undoubtedly fantastic, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

Here are a few I'd personally like to see, mostly concerning coloring.

Eye colors:
blue-violet, grey-violet, grey-green, sky blue, aquamarine, orchid, cocoa, amethyst, wine-hued, sea-hued, ultramarine, lavender, multi-hued, pale blue, pale violet, pale green, pale grey, onyx, obsidian, verdant, ice-blue, forest green, honey brown, midnight blue, evergreen, lime green, teal, pale gold, spring green, cerulean, autumn gold, dark grey, silvery grey, silvery blue, silvery green, green-gold, opalescent, royal blue

Eye shapes:
long-lashed, dark-lashed, pale-lashed, lashless, luminous, radiant, shimmering, intense, hooded, narrow

Hair/mane textures:
abundant, silky, glossy, lustrous, frizzy, oily, brittle

Hair/mane and streak colors:
spun gold, bright red, deep red, crimson, chocolate brown, pale gold, icy white, burgundy, jet black, dark grey, charcoal grey, pearly white, rose gold, champagne blonde, raven, silvery blonde

Fur colors (Prydaen, possibly Rakash):
charcoal grey, silver-gilt, bright orange, pearly white, snow-white, glacial white, jet black, raven, blue-black, bright blue, deep green, deep purple
