Useless-level Scars No Longer Deadly? 09/14/2014 06:18 PM CDT
A few years ago, another Empath and I thoroughly tested over-healing and scars. In short, if the Empath acquired a useless-level scar (to a vital part) by repeatedly healing his own wounds, the Empath would not die. This was true even if the Empath continued to heal his own wounds. The useless-level scar never became fatal to the Empath until the Empath attempted to transfer a scar from a patient (to the same part).

In April 2014, I documented bug that caused Empaths to die from accumulating useless-level scars by self-healing: http://forums.play.net/forums/DragonRealms/The%20Empaths/Healing%20Systems/view/1107

That hasn't happened to me since 3.1 went live in May, but now I am hearing that it's no longer fatal to acquire a useless-level scar by transferring scars from patients:

>>Nakori Dozypaws (‏@CreampuffNakori): @IsharonDR I once went unconscious from overhealing chest or abdomen scars, shortly after 3.1 came out. It was not "in shock and dying"...

>>Nakori Dozypaws (‏@CreampuffNakori): @IsharonDR But I can't find it in my logs! The scars were useless on a vital spot, should have killed me. Why didn't it? I only fainted...

Did something else change when the aforementioned scar bug was squashed, and if so, is this working as intended?

Thanks!
