Stuff I'd like to see. Some of these may coincide with what other people would like to see.

Plague Doctor
Enervator (Lethargy)
Leech
Quack (Stealing req)
Triager
Arbiter (Follows from Triage work)
Charmer (Manipulate)
Cunning Man / Woman

Empaths should have access to witch doctor, as well.

We also are in DIRE, DIIIIRE need of more battle Empath titles. Also, why are the empathy reqs so high for Kaith Partani? I can understand Battle Empath requiring the same empathy req as the Empath title, but the other one seems way out of line. My Empath is halfway to the battle reqs of Kaith Partani, but I'll be surprised if she ever has enough Empathy for it.

Suggestions:

Warrior Empath
Battle Healer
Mercy in Battle (heh, why not)
Field Surgeon

<<Warrior Empath>>

While I'm all for more combat-oriented titles, this one simply makes no sense. Titles are supposed to somehow describe the bearer, and an Empath simply cannot be a warrior. This is because "warrior" speaks of one who directly engages in both the offensive and defensive aspects of combat (you know, actually attacking and killing one's foes). Furthermore, once the Shock rewrite is complete and there is a way for Empaths to truly act as warriors, they will not also be able to act as Empaths while in that state. The words Warrior and Empath, therefore, cannot both simultaneously describe the same individual. Plus it sounds silly...if you really had to have a title like this, Empathic Warrior would at least sound better. Warriors can't be Empathic though.

So, I'd suggest dropping the -rior and just making it War Empath...I hate having to use a Gamgweth title for that anyway.

Thanks,

That's cool Karthor.

I figured since Empaths could have the Warrior title, the Warrior Empath title wouldn't be too much of a stretch. War Empath is fine with me, too.

We just need more combat titles, and titles that don't ooze kitten juice.

I envision my Empath as a warrior, but I can see how that term might not make sense to other people. Ye olde dictionary says that a warrior is "one who is engaged in or experienced in battle." It doesn't seem all that contradictory to me.

Killer Empath maybe, Warrior Empath, not so much.

This brings me to another title suggestion: Killer Empath.

(Just kidding. Or am I?)

I dunno...a title that oozes kitten juice sounds pretty ominous and gore-filled, to me.

If you guys implement Kitten Juicer as a title, I will certainly use it for my Empath.

Only if Empaths with shock scars can have the "Killer Empath" title.

I wish we had titles to indicate:

currently shocked
shock scar
and
no shock scar

yea 'Pure" would be no shock scar,
and how about titles or something to use instead of those on and off duty badges? not that I care too much I am never "off duty" because I see my gifts as a way of life and not a duty at all, however I can see the merits in it for others, I just guess I hate when people ask "are you on duty??"

Reply with, "what is this duty of mine you speak of?"

As it is not your duty to heal them. So, no problem.

Some sort of demeanor-like setting would be kind of nice for that.

You see Sellsword Szrael Q'zhalata, Warrior of Velaka, a S'Kra Mur.
Szrael has slitted gold-flecked gold eyes and a pointed snout, red-gold scales and a long tail.
She has a tattoo of spiraling bands of iridescent green-blue underscales outlined in gold on her tail.
Szrael doesn't look very interested in healing anyone at the moment.

or

Szrael looks as though she is ready and willing to heal people.

or

Or absent.

It might be a nice addition to the profile system, whenever that comes out.

Very nice Szrael I really like that idea. Much better than a ugly OOC title yet effective.
