Okay, I know perceiving health in the same room over and over again fries your nerves. Does anyone know how long between perceiving that can be done in the same room without frying nerves. Basically what is the timer reset to not fry nerves?

Perc health won't fry your nerves unless you become overwhelmed - i.e. perceive more people than you are currently able to handle. You will know when that happens due to a stun. The only timer I know of is the experience timer where you can only perceive health in a spot once every 5 minutes or so.
Is it possible you were holding mana and forgot about it?
