As a last observation, I've finally learned enough MD to weave Rezz into my orb and discovered how awesome OM really is. Until now I haven't found much use for it, even with SOL, Centering... I rarely used it. Now I thank the gods I picked it up. With some hard work getting my MD up, resurrection is made SO much easier. Can't believe I held off training MD. I know, I'm a rookie but to those out there that haven't reached this point - my advice, work MD, get OM. For me it made resurrection fun, instead of a pain in the butt.

Yeah, I don't know how many other guilds drool over OM's usefulness. It really is awesome. I've describe how the spell works to five or six non-cleric magic-users in the past two weeks and they all walked away jealous (and me beaming).
As for the MD training, I'm curious how you don't have over 100 in MD? Not judging, but the way I work PM and harness is to sit, teach, prep spell, charge cambrinth, focus cambrinth, cast, rinse, repeat. Learning three magic skills all at once is just awesome. Was it you just found cambrinth too cumbersome? Didn't know about it? Learned all your magic skills through combat and TM?

Partly because I hate having to "hold" cambrinth to use it, and how that can get in the way of other things I may be doing. Then there was also many occasions where I wasn't using a script (mostly because I can't devote my entire life to DR and using a script mindless for hours a day would only get me caught - I HATE that policy - for the record I've always seen it as unfair for most people who have a life that can't be interrupted) and conversation would break out, got hard to do too many things at once. Then there's the lazy factor. Put it all together and PRESTO, you got yerself low MD.

Hmmmm, I'm trying to figure out the best way to help.
From your post, it sounds like you aren't against using a script (though I'm a little confused by it so I may be wrong). So why not just write a script to remove/get your cambrinth, prep spell, charge, and focus until locked in MD? This minimalizes the chance of you getting a warning. It still works all the magics including the much needed MD. Plus you can sit and talk and do conversational type stuff while you script.
It's the same process I use for all my scripts (e.g. juggling, instrument playing, origami, etc). They all need things in hand too.

If you train your MD to 180 or so, you won't need to hold the cambrinth.

Oh I've since written scripts that do such, I just didn't start until late. I've gained the last 60 ranks or so in MD for example with a script. I script, by unlike many who I bet mindlessly script, I sit and watch. Maybe I am paranoid of getting caught or something I dunno. I wish they'd just do away with it.

I got my first 100 or so ranks of MD from runestones- and it was done manually, and yes it was mind-numbing! But that was before the first round of changes to MD.
Then I discovered the benefits of cambrinth, and became something of a junky. Then cambrinth was changed again so I no longer had to actually hold it. And I said "Woo-Hoo!"

Lots of us watch our scripts. Good luck on the MD though. Using OM and later charging worn cambrinth is absolutely fabulous.
