PoM 3.0 01/08/2013 06:35 PM CST
So I was playing around on the test server, and I notice that Persistence of Mana had its minimum prep raised from 5 to 150 (!). Can somebody help me understand the logic here? Unless spellcasting has changed dramatically, I don't think it would be possible for my cleric to ever cast a spell at 150 mana under any circumstances. Is this spell now only for extremely high circle clerics?

I was told that there are new "ritual spells" and that we can use "foci" to help with casting, but I have no idea what this means. Are the changes documented anywhere?

Thanks!

They are on Elanthipedia, but to sum it up the foci are invoked while prepping a ritual spell. The foci will contribute about 80% of the mana needed... so really its like a 30-40 min prep with the foci.

Thanks for your response. Would you happen to know where I can find a Focus in the test instance?

I did find the page at http://elanthipedia.org/w/index.php/Focus_%28item%29

They are sold in the artificers shop in crossing.
