I read elanthapedia and they are wrong or something else is at play here. Twenty failures in a row with the reticule and no failures with my inkwell indicate that article is not conclusive. Arcana at this level is a breeze with sanowret crystals so I will focus on growth until I can use the reticule. The failure message is "some flaw in your ritual's design". When I am able to use the reticule I will post my arcana skill.

MF is one of our spells where devotion is a factor. With it so easy now to keep devotion at a high level, we can assume that is not the issue here?
