Citizens of the Realms,

These facts, as spoken to us by the Voices of the Gods through the High Temple Investigator Soraent, are self-evident:
Sorcery and Necromancy have poisoned and corrupted the Web of Fate.
This corruption has allowed extraplanar entities to invade our Plane of Abiding.
If this corruption cannot be cleansed in any other manner, then the Goddess Harawep shall scour this world of its impurities through fire. All life as we know it will end, and the Web will be saved.

The people of Elanthia, together with the Priestesses of the Holy Triumvirate of Tamsine, Albreda, and Harawep, have so far been able to work toward mending the Web. This has been done in part by breaking apart rifts in our plane, ridding our realms of extraplanar interlopers, and cleansing the corrupted metals these invaders carry with them.

In spite of our efforts, an obstacle has recently appeared before us in the form of a rift which cannot be broken by any known mortal means.

It is time to act, to protect both the Sacred Web of Harawep and this world which we hold so dear.

All children of the Gods! All Priests and Priestesses! Now, more than ever, we must cleave to our faith and believe in our Blessed Immortals to show us the way! Servants of the Dark and Disciples of the Light, our resolve must be unbreakable! Together, we shall form a single, great conduit through which the power of the Divine may purify and cleanse this corrupted earth!

In the name of the Thirteen, the Web shall be made whole!
