Moving fluidly, you throw a kertig throwing hammer at a Maelshyvean cinder beast. A Maelshyvean cinder beast fails to block with a battle-worn black steel tower shield. The hammer and lands an extremely heavy hit that rends flesh and splinters the right leg from hip to knee.
The throwing hammer falls to the ground!
A Maelshyvean cinder beast crumples to the ground with a bellowing roar!

It is missing the flash from the hammer, instead it leaves a blank space.

I can't seem to reproduce this. Did it happen every strike? With other weapons and creatures? More details would help.

yep it happened every strike, not the first time i saw it. usually happens when you double bless the weapon. first with commune then with the bless spell. it works fine while the first wears off but sometimes does that before the second wears off. see if that helps?

it is not creature specific.

The throwing hammer is blessed and should last for 117 more strikes.
Roundtime: 4 sec.

The greater shadow hound closes to melee range on you!
throw
You are already holding that.
>< Fluidly, you throw a kertig throwing hammer at a greater shadow hound. A greater shadow hound attempts to evade, only partially avoiding the impact. The hammer and lands a devastating hit that detonates the hound's chest into a dazzling shower of brilliant white light.
The throwing hammer falls to the ground!

A greater shadow hound whispers its last raspy yelp as its stark silver eyes wink out of existence amidst its cloak of shadows. Soon the cloak itself rapidly unfurls, leaving nothing but the broken body of a mundane ebon marsh hound behind.

The steel scimitar is powerfully blessed and should last for 1 more strikes.
The steel scimitar is blessed and should last for 400 more strikes.
Roundtime: 4 sec.

>attack
< Moving fluidly, you slice a steel scimitar at a greater sluagh. A greater sluagh fails to evade, the blow brushing it. The scimitar flares with a holy white glow and lands a very heavy hit that bites deeply into the sluagh's chest, lightly stunning it.

< With grace, you draw a steel scimitar at a greater sluagh. A greater sluagh attempts to dodge, avoiding only some of the blow. The scimitar and lands an extremely heavy hit that tears the skin from the sluagh's left elbow.
[You're nimbly balanced and in dominating position.]
[Roundtime 2 sec.]

there you got reproduced it with a scimitar in greater hounds and sluaghs for you. notice it occurs when the first bless wears out. sorry for not being more detailed to begin with.

Well, that was one of the most ancient and irksome bugs I've encountered. Hopefully fixed.
