TARGET <body part> 09/01/2014 12:32 PM CDT

This is a crosspost from a thread I made in the general bugs section of the forums. I'm not sure if it applies to clerics only or not so I figured I'd cover the bases: http://forums.play.net/forums/DragonRealms/Abilities,%20Skills%20and%20Magic/Bugs/thread/1659470

I'm currently having an issue with a couple targeted spells that I was normally able to target body parts with before, but now it gives no messaging. The two spells I'm working with right now are FF and DR (Cleric spells.)

Here's a log (and no it isn't because of lag/fog):

> prep ff
tar chest
Since you're not feeding enough power into the spell pattern to make it coherent, you quickly work your way to the minimum required.
That won't affect your current attunement very much.
You begin chanting a psalm to invoke the Fists of Faenella spell.
> tar head
Aylay comes out of hiding.
> tar
You begin to weave mana lines into a target pattern around a juvenile wyvern.

>
The juvenile wyvern searches around for a moment.
>
* A juvenile wyvern slashes its razor-sharp talons at you. You partially block with a

So if I target their chest, head, abdomen, back, anything.. it gives no messaging.

Here's a log of it with DR:

> prep dr
tar chest

>

That won't affect your current attunement very much.

You begin chanting a psalm to invoke the Divine Radiance spell.
> tar abdo

> tar back

>
* A juvenile wyvern lunges foward and snaps its fangs at you. You evade.
[You're mighty, solidly balanced and have slight advantage.]
>
* A juvenile wyvern viciously lashes the side of its tail at you. You evade.
[You're mighty, solidly balanced with no advantage.]
>
* A juvenile wyvern lunges foward and snaps its fangs at you. You evade.
[You're mighty, solidly balanced with opponent in better position.]
>
* A juvenile wyvern slices wide at you. You dodge.
[You're mighty, solidly balanced and have slight advantage.]
> tar right leg
Appearing to have lost sight of its target, a juvenile wyvern stops advancing.

Now AE cannot be targeted body part wise, but here's the messaging for it (because at least it's acknowledging it):

> prep ae
Since you're not feeding enough power into the spell pattern to make it coherent, you quickly work your way to the minimum required.
That won't affect your current attunement very much.
You begin chanting a psalm to invoke the Aesrela Everild spell.
>
A silversteel vulture lifts its head and nuzzles your ear before warbling a heart-rending melody.
> tar chest

>
The target pattern for the Aesrela Everild spell can't be focused that finely.
> tar back
The target pattern for the Aesrela Everild spell can't be focused that finely.
>
* A juvenile wyvern slices wide at you. You barely block with a shadowy oval shield alit with eldritch purple light.
[You're mighty, solidly balanced with no advantage.]
>
* A juvenile wyvern slices wide at you. You evade.
[You're mighty, solidly balanced and opponent has slight advantage.]

> tar abdomen

FWIW, someone in the other thread said that it's because of wyverns. So, yeah.
