Beckon the Naga damage type 06/03/2016 12:24 AM CDT
What are the damage types that BTN does? Going by the messaging I'm going to assume Impact primary, but I don't know what the secondary would be. Piercing?

Oh, weird... I thought spells had to have two damage types. I guess that's because it's a separate entity and it's 'wielding' an impact only 'weapon' then?

Thanks for the info!

It's a creature. Creatures aren't spells. :)

Even ignoring the exact specifications of the spell, bear in mind the "two damage type" thing is a policy rather than a mechanical limitation. TM spells can do any sort of damage of any degree so long as the configuration can be rationalized and everyone with a stake in the matter is convinced.

The templates make life a lot easier, but 'off template' is still doable, if rare.
