Is it not possible to effect beisswurm with DMRS?

I've tried with 14 mana (my cap) and 40 ranks of debil. I've got 15 in Int/disc/wisd, so I shouldn't be losing the contest. But I get a flat failure and no exp.

Energy explodes from you, forming concentric rings of tangible sound of that sweep through the area like the fading ripples in a pond.
A beisswurm is not bothered by the sound.

That means that they're immune. I'm fairly certain there's no 'immune to sound' flag, so I think they're just immune to stun effects. I can't currently test this, since the only other stunning ability I can use on characters I have access to right now is Mental Blast (Dazzle and Mind Shout don't work there since it's underground) which causes sleep at full success even if immune to stun, so there's no way to tell the difference.

Another example would be swamp trolls:

You gesture.

A small peccary falls down, cowering fearfully.

A swamp troll doesn't seem to notice or care.

You sense your scream pass through a swamp troll's mind unnoticed.
You sense your psychic energy scream through a small peccary's mind.
A small peccary flails, twitching in obvious agony!

Definitely means they're simply immune to stunning abilities.
