Syrin's heart 11/18/2019 10:01 PM CST

Does the Syrin's heart reference Siryn Mistbringer? Was just curious if that was the connection given the name and the blue and silver nature of the gem. If so, might want to correct the name - if that's not the connection, my mistake!

Hi Kaedan! Thanks for asking! Technically, yes!

This is a strange one because of the lore behind it:

Tales of Siryn Mistbringer filtered their way down through Kermoria through the years, reaching Albaria. Once there, her name became an amalgamated version of Siryn as "Syrin". Discovered by a gemologist who was a Kaldar refugee, the gemologist chose to name his find as "Syrin's heart" in tribute to his childhood Albarian tales. Thus, the name has been preserved in the lore of the gem as "Syrin".

So, tldr - Syrin is correct, but it is named after Siryn.
