- Creation of Nodes. Playing at very high levels creates peaceful places of study. Either increases learning rate of certain skills or gives a modest bonus to skills. Skills may change depending on some kind of alignment system of the player, or based on instrument and difficulty, or some combination. Effect is lost on any person who engages in combat. Granted, not sure how well this would work out given some of our problems with AFK scripters in public, but it sure would be nice to have a Performance ability that were truly unique and powerful. Maybe some kind of special checks could be put in place.

- Spirit Regeneration. This already exists, but we could ramp it up several notches, especially at higher levels of Performance.

- Busking. As previously proposed!

- Area Calm. Creates a safe area from beast-type creatures, preventing spawn a la Sanctuary. Would take significantly more skill to pull off than magic, though.

- Reputation. Playing in locations in a province increase Reputation in that province, and at certain levels this system could unlock bonuses, such as access to secret/special areas, rumor system access, titles, shop prices, etc.

I like the reputation idea, and it could kill two birds with one stone. You could make the judges let you off if you have built and maintained a high enough reputation, with a timer of course. That would save thieves a lot of problems. It could also give you all the priveleges of citizenship even if you aren't a citizen. It could also act as a passive luck bonus when you're within that province, if your reputation is high enough.
