Gosh time flies! It's been a month and a half already, and it seems like just yesterday I was cursing Nefidyne out for killing me. :) The time has come for me to leave again. My love affair with Dragonrealms can be quantified by a drunkard who drinks once and wakes up in a backalley with no money, no clothes, no friends, and nothing but the memory of being drunk for company.
(I hope that made you laugh, if it didn't make you laugh, I'd say you arn't from Earth.)
It's always hard to say goodbye when we've just met, so I'll just leave this for those who have gotten to know me in the past 2 months. Do what you love, Love what you do, and who you are. Don't let others force you to change who or what you are. You are beautiful in your uniqueness. Consideracy, Honor, Respect, Compassion and Truth are the most important things in life -- I know because I struggle with them daily. Real Life is more important than DragonRealms, always, no matter what. There were times when I did ignore siblings to play DragonRealms, and I've always held those moments in deepest regret. If I could take back those moments, to play tea and cupcakes with my youngest sister when she was aged 6, you just know I would.
You touch the Soul Knot on your pendant, and an assuring sense of comfort almost overwhelms you.

Once upon a time, 15 years ago, DragonRealms had no Bards. Taverns, instruments to play on, but sadly not one bard. Warrior Mage, Moon Mage, Trader, Empath, Thief, Ranger, Cleric. One person said they wanted to hear the music of a bard playing, that it wasn't right to have instruments and no bards to play them well. Another added they also wanted to hear such. They were informed that no Bard's Guild was planned, that they would just have to select another guild.
Hundreds of players from Gemstone II posted on the DragonRealms boards saying they all wanted a bard's guild in DragonRealms and to make Bard spells more unique by making them more song-like, and they pledged to join it. A coder named Rowena was assigned to put together a basic Bard's Guild in Crossings including a 3 room hall bards could stay in, song scrolls were made, Enchantes were patched together, with Siryn, Silvryfrost, and Tenebraus to open the guildhall... on the last day of DragonRealms Open Beta. This was all accomplished in roughly 6 months time.
Hint: Keep an open mind, The ship is the spirit. I've seen far too many bards in my time lose sight of that. Once I lost sight of it too. Without the Bardic Spirit everything accomplished for bards until now is in vain.
